Organic Milk

When we think about total way of organic life, organic milk cannot remains aloof. Therefore in recent times demand of organic milk has grown up. The demand is more in the developed world. In the developing world the demand also has been felt considerably. Now the question arises why the demand for organic milk has increased? All knows the answer. It is the benefit of the organic milk, which compelled the people to think about consuming it.

Like any other organically grown product, the health benefit, beyond doubt is very high. According to the research result of the University of Aberdeen and Institute of Grassland, the organic milk contains more omega-3 than non-organic milk. Therefore it is more beneficial for the consumer of general milk to replace it for the organic milk. This organic milk can be a good alternative to fish oil capsules, which genrally we take for omega-3.

According to another research, which did the Danish Institute of Agricultural science and the University of New Castle, organic milk is a good supplier of vitamin A and Vitamin E. As we all know that Vitamin A provides us good eyesight and vitamin   is very helpful to delay the process of ageing.

Thee benefit of the organic milk are manifold. It also has more Conjugated Linoleic Acid (CLA) than non –organic milk. To obtain organic milk farmers have to let their cows to graze on pasture .The cows are not given any fodder. So the cows, which graze on pasture, have higher concentration of Conjugated Linoleic Acid (CLA) in their milk than any other cow, which is fed by fodder.

The benefit of organic milk is strongly backed by research results. However very often, it is very difficult to prove that the organic food is more beneficial than non –organic food. Still the methodology the producer followed has made the belief of the consumer stronger over the time. Therefore in recent times consumer have become more reliable on the organic milk.
